A Christian hospital

The congregation

The Orthopaedic Hospital Vienna-Speising is a congregation hospital with Christian tradition dedicated to Christian values. Our history is closely related to the religious "Congregation of the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit", which in 1917 assumed the responsibilities of nursing management and in 1933 assumed the responsibilities of managing the hospital in its entirety. The congregation was founded by Father Arnold Jansen, and leadership was conveyed to Vinzenz Gruppe in 1999.

Christian values are important to us

To preserve the Christian ambiance of the Orthopaedic Hospital Vienna-Speising, a Department of Value Management and a Value Team were created in 2000 at our Hospital and all other hospitals of Vinzenz Gruppe in Vienna. The team is dedicated to being helpful and supportive to effect harmonious and satisfying relations between employees and patients.
Dignity of the human being, value, and freedom are untouchable and remain the most important criteria at the Orthopaedic Hospital Vienna-Speising. Faith, merciful love, esteem, warmth, truthfulness, and social and economic responsibility are the values we cultivate and hold in high esteem.

Patients of all faiths are welcome at our Hospital.
