1st Orthopaedic Department
This department specialises in orthopaedics relating to the upper extremities (hands, arms and shoulders), knee procedures that maintain the joint, hip arthroscopy and sports orthopaedics. It also offers services across the orthopaedics spectrum .Head: Prof. Dr. Christian Wurnig
2nd Orthopaedic Department
Doctors in this department specialise in particular in knee and hip end endoprostheses (i.e. prosthesis care). The department also offers services across the orthopaedics spectrum. Head: Prof. Dr. Martin Dominkus
Department for Spine Surgery
This is the department that specialises in spinal surgery, and it is part of the Spinal Centre. The department also offers services across the orthopaedics spectrum. Head: Prof. Dr. Michael Ogon
Department for Conservative Orthopaedics
Our department’s services include treating symptoms throughout the locomotor system without surgical procedures, with a particular focus on treating issues in the spine. We are part of the Spinal Centre.Head: Prof. Dr. Michael Ogon
Department for Paediatric Orthopaedics and Foot Surgery in Adults
The department specialises in disorders of the upper and lower extremities in children and adolescents. Other focuses: Neuro-orthopaedics, deformity reconstruction and foot surgery in adults. Head: Ass. Prof. Dr. Rudolf Ganger, Ph.D.
The S2 form allows you to prove your entitlement to planned health treatment in another EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. You must obtain it from your health insurance institution before leaving and then submit it to the health insurance institution in the country where you go to receive the treatment.
